Want to feel awesome?! Barre fitness is low-impact strength training that’s accessible for everybody. The workouts focus on small, isolated movements that fatigue the muscles to build strength. Most of the movements are done using almost purely your own body weight, but sometimes we’ll use resistance bands and/or hand weights as well. No impact, but high intensity! The classes combine movements from Pilates, dance, and functional fitness training, but you don’t need to have prior experience with any of these. All of the actions can be modified to accommodate your particular needs or past injuries. The goals of our classes are to transform the body into having a balance between strength and functionality! And to have fun! The class is set to upbeat music. I explain every activity as we go and offer individual feedback and adjustments throughout the class.
